Five people are arrested in Beloit and another 12 cleared after a active warrant sweep.
Rock County Deputies and Beloit Police sought and apprehended several people for having outstanding warrants in the City of Beloit. They attempted to serve 62 active warrants, executing and clearing 12 and arrested five people.
To date in 2015, four warrant sweeps by Rock County and Beloit Police have cleared 65 active warrants and resulted in the arrest of 30 people.
The sweeps are part of Beloit’s “Stop the Violence Initiative.”
