Five women arrested in Belvidere massage parlor prostitution bust

The Belvidere Police Department released the names of five women who were arrested on prostitution charges following a three month investigation into area massage parlors.

On Monday, December 10th, Belvidere Police, in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, raided four Belvidere massage parlors, including:

Hot Stone Spa, 2184 N. State Street
Angel Spa, 998 Belvidere Road, Suite #3
Ming’s Spa, 120 N. State Street
Good Luck Relax Center, 404 S. State Street

Tina Kang, 53, of Chicago, was charged with Promoting Prostitution and two counts of Prostitution.

Ssang Y. Tretbar, 52, of Van Buren, Arizona, was charged with Prostitution and Violation of the Massage License Act

Seng A. Yang, 50, of West Palm Beach, Florida, was charged with Violation of the Massage License Act

Lisa Yu, 60, of Lincolnshire, was charged with Promoting Prostitution within 1,000 feet of a School, and Prostitution

Jin Xiaolan, 54, of Chicago, was charged with Violation of the Massage License Act

Belvidere Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.

Each woman faces up to 8 years in prison.
