Foggy windshield glass is to blame for an 88-year-old man being hit in a car accident on Monday evening.
It happened around 6 p.m. at S. Alpine and 16th Avenue. The elderly man was crossing Alpine when the car hit him. He was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the car said his windshield was fogged up, causing him not to see the victim.
The driver is charged with Driving with an Obstructed Windshield and for not having car insurance.
