Rockford Police are asking for the public’s help in finding three people who disappeared under suspicious circumstances and who are considered to be in danger.

The investigation began on Monday after 10am when Rockford Police responded to 834 10th Ave. to take a missing person report.  Family members of 22-year-old Danielle Son, who lives at that address, reported that they had not had contact with her since Saturday.  They told police that when they went to the residence to check on her, they located her two children, ages 2 years and 11 months, left alone but unharmed.

Investigators soon learned that Danielle’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Sergio Quiroz, and her estranged husband, 26-year-old Hand Son, are also missing.

Hand Son’s vehicle, a white 2007 Toyota Sion with red wheels or rims, Illinois license plate #915407 is also missing.  A picture of a similar vehicle provided by Rockford Police is shown below.

They say foul play is suspected.

According to Winnebago County court records, Hand Son was charged with misdemeanor Domestic Battery causing Bodily Harm on January 16th.  Then on Friday, February 16th, Danielle Son filed a civil suit seeking Dissolution with Children custody order from the court.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockford Police Department non-emergency number (815-966-2900) or the Investigations Bureau (779-500-6551).
