Four suspects are in custody following an armed robbery at the US Cellular store at 155 Keul Road on Monday night.
Dixon Police were called to the scene around 5:55 p.m. and learned two suspects wearing masks entered the store, one armed with a handgun, and ordered the employees to the back room, where they tied them up and stole numerous items and cash from the store.
No one was injured during the robbery.
A witness was able to give police a description of the license plate and vehicle used in the crime.
An Illinois State Trooper spotted the vehicle eastbound on I-88 and coordinated with Aurora Police and the Kane County Sheriff to have the vehicle pulled over.
At 7:04 p.m., the vehicle fled from police for two miles before losing control in slick road conditions, striking three other cars, one being a ISP cruiser.
Two of the suspects fled on foot and two were arrested at the scene.
Police set up a perimeter and deployed K9 units to assist. Approximately 45 minutes later, the two suspects were found hiding under a tree.
Tyrone Buron, 54, of Chicago, was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, and Unlawful Restraint.
Orlando Gates, 37, of Chicago, was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, Unlawful Restraint, and a Failure to Appear warrant out of Lee County for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and a Larceny warrant out of Lake County, Indiana.
Joshua Parker, 28, of Chicago, was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, and Unlawful Restraint.
Ashley Wollschlaeger, 31, of Romeoville, was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery, and Unlawful Restraint.
Gates and Parker fled the crime. Burton and Wollschlaeger were arrested at the scene.
All four suspects were turned over to the Lee County Jail.
