Four Arrested in Freeport Drug Probe

An ongoing investigation into cocaine and heroin dealing in the Freeport area has led to four arrests.

The Freeport Police Department working with the Illinois State Police Stateline Area Narcotics Team began the investigation in response to complaints of open drug trafficking, and made the following arrests.

  • Tevin Walker, 23, of Freeport, was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a school. Walker’s bond is set at $250,000.
  • Elijah Brown, 22, of Freeport, was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a Church. Brown had two warrants with the combined bond of $400,000.
  • Ishman Jackson, 35, of Freeport, was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1000 Feet of a church. Jackson had two warrants with the combined bond of $400,000.
  • Mary Parker, 55, of Freeport was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance within 1000 Feet of a school. Parker had two warrants with a combined bond of $400,000.

This comes after the arrest of four other individuals on similar charges on June 21st, and Freeport police say that more arrests are likely as their investigation is ongoing.
