Free Meals and Services Offered to Vets This Veterans Day

Veterans Day appreciate goes beyond ‘thanks yous’ and parades for our nation’s heroes, many area businesses also offer free meals and services to those who have served the country.

Here is a listing of some of the free meals being offered to veterans in our area this Veteran’s Day:

  • Applebees: Free Applebees signature entree
  • Chili’s: Free entree
  • Denny’s: Free Grand Slam breakfast
  • Einstein Bros Bagels: Free coffee
  • Famous Dave’s: Free ‘One Meat Salute’
  • Golden Corral: Free dinner between 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Hooters: Choose from free menu items
  • Little Caesars: Free Hot-n-Ready lunch combo
  • Olive Garden: Free meal from special menu
  • Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion appetizer and beverage
  • Texas Roadhouse: Free lunch


Some of the services offered for free include a free haircut card to veterans redeemable on Veterans Day through the end of the year.

Gruno’s Diamonds is offering a free watch battery change to any area veteran at their Rockford and Madison locations. They’re also offering military members and their families a chance to win a bracelet from their “Armed Forces Collection.”
