Freeport brewing company tries to help flooding victims

A local business is trying to help victims affected by flooding. Generations Brewing Company in Freeport, Ill. will donate a dollar of every purchase from their beer selection in the taproom.

The donations will begin Wednesday, March 20 and will occur every Wednesday and Thursday until the end of March.

Generations Brewing Company will be partnering with Salvation Army, Freeport Dream Center and Freeport Area Church Co-op to help with flood relief. The business will be accepting food, clothing and bedding donations, as well.
