Freeport police arrest 20 people in one day on drug charges

On Friday, Freeport Police announced 20 arrests warrants served on September 20th, the result of two years worth of drug investigations undertaken in the city, in cooperation with the Illinois State Police State Line Area Narcotics Team.

Police have called the group the ’20 on 20′, since warrants for all 20 were served on Sept. 20th.

Kendrick Baker, 32, was arrested on two warrants for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Zyrell Scott, 20, was arrested for theft of over $500 and theft with a prior conviction.

Brandon Herold, 33, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) within 500 feet of Knowlton Square Park.

William Schnitzler, 40, was arrested for two warrants for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Dennis Andersen, 62, was arrested for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine.

Alvin Brown, 42, was arrested for two warrants for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine.

Linda Oppold, 57, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (oxycodone).

Tony Anderson, 64, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Robert Johnson, 28, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) less than 1 gram, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) 1-15 grams.

Randall Pruitt, 55, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (hydrocodone).

Kenneth Harris, 51, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (oxycodone).

Leonard Bradley, 53, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Jody Shores, 42, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (MDMA) 15-200 capsules, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (MDMA) 15-100 grams.

Randall Chezem, 57, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (hydrocodone).

Julie Olson, 38, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (alprazolam).

Randon Williams, 34, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Mary Moore, 24, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Cordre Rucker, 24, of Lena, was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis 100-500 grams.

Karen Driver, 45, was arrested for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl).

Demetrius Jones, 26, was arrested for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine.

Two more suspects are in the custody of other law enforcement jurisdictions:

James Foster, 26, is currently in th custody of Green Country law enforcement and will be served warrants for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine), and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) within 500 feet of Tri-County Christian School.

Javontay Langford, 23, is currently in the Illinois Department of Corrections and will be served warrants for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) 1-15 grams, and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (heroin) less than 1 gram.

In addition, Freeport police say they are actively looking for an additional eight suspects.
