As one of the victims in last month’s Ogle County plane crash continues to recover, friends are stepping up to help. Jamie Nadowski broke multiple bones when she and her boyfriend crash landed onto the Rock River a couple weeks ago.

Illinois State Police say they flew into a power line. Nadowski is no stranger to the skies. Her boyfriend tells us she’s a NICU nurse for Mercy Health and flies in the react helicopter. Friends hope a fundraiser this Saturday at the Lombardi Club can help cover her medical expenses. It starts at 5.
