Genoa Police Release Surveillance Photos of Heartland Bank Robber

The Genoa Police Department has released surveillance photos of an armed man who held up the Heartland Bank Friday morning.

They say the man walked into the bank at around 10:20am, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.  He then left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The subject is described as a male, white, 5’9 stocky build, with blonde hair. He was wearing a tan baseball cap with white on the front. He also had a red mark on his upper right cheek near his eye.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, Sycamore Police, and the FBI are also assisting in the investigation.
