An Arizona-based company is recalling 6.5 million pounds of ground beef due to salmonella concerns, the USDA announced on Thursday.

The JBS Tolleston, Inc. products come in many labels and bear the establishment number “EST. 267” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

They were distributed to retail locations nationwide.

The beef products were packaged on various dates between July 26, 2018 to September 7, 2018.

So far, 57 people have become ill in 16 states, with onset dates from August 5th through September 6th.

Anyone who purchased the ground beef is urged to throw it away or return it.
