Health Officials Warn of Measles Exposure at NIU


The State Health Dept. says a person infected with measles visited Northern Illinois University.  Now, the agency’s warning people they may have been exposed.

This affects anyone who visited the campus from May 13th – May 15th.  Specifically, the Holmes Student Center Guest Hotel, the College of Business Reception at Barsema Hall, and the graduation ceremony.

Measles is a highly contagious disease.  Symptoms include fever, red and sore eyes, and a rash.
