Hobby Lobby will be hosting a Grand Opening for their new store on Rt. 173 in Machesney Park.

The store announced the opening for October 1st from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Hobby Lobby began in 1970 in Oklahoma City, and today operates more than 800 stores in 47 states.

The company primarily sells arts-and-crafts but also includes hobbies, picture framing, jewelry making, fabrics, floral and wedding supplies, cards and party ware.
