The Hononegah Community High School District and retiring superintendent Dr. Lynn Gibson were honored with the Pride of the Stateline award at a awards banquet on Friday.
The Pride of the Stateline award recognizes a business or individual that shows a dedication to community service, and is awarded by the Stateline Chamber. The Hononegah school district and Dr. Gibson were both nominated by the community and were selected by the Chamber as finalists.
Dr. Gibson, who announced her retirement this year, said, “Thank you for recognizing Hononegah with the Pride of the Stateline Award. The commitment from our Hononegah family – staff, students, families, and community – is what keeps the Legacy of high standards thriving and makes this award possible.”
