Hononegah High School is set to name their new, permanent head football coach, after playing last season with two interim head coaches.

Brian Zimmerman, one of the two 2015 interim head coaches, will be named to the permanent position at a press conference on Thursday. Zimmerman has taught science at the high school since 1994 and has been involved with the Hononegah football program for 24 years, coaching at all levels.

Zimmerman received his Master’s degree from Rockford College, and is Hononegah’s science department coordinator.

Thursday’s press conference will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Room 1102 at Hononegah.
