Officials with the Illinois Department of Transportation will be in Rockford Wednesday afternoon to discuss roadway improvements on South Main Street.
The public and local businesses are encouraged to attend. It will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rockford Metropolitan Agency for Planning building at 313 North Main Street.
Officials will discuss progress on the reconstruction of South Main from Cedar Street to Harrison.
