Inspiring Rockford Teen Gymnast to be Featured Friday on ‘Good Morning America’

A gymnast from Rockford, who lost her leg to cancer, is back to doing what she loves the most, and will be the subject of a feature story on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ Friday from 7-9am on WTVO-17.

Sixteen year old Kate Foster may have a prosthetic limb, but video of the courageous athlete, in a recent competition, shows how she can still do spins, walkovers, and jumps at a professional level.

The girl, who has been doing Cross Fit since she was just seven-years-old, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2011 and has made a serious comeback that has inspired many.
