Janesville Pharmacist Indicted for Fraud

News

Federal investigators say a Janesville pharmacist defrauded the government to the tune of $1 million.

Agents arrested Mark Johnson Friday morning.  He faces a 46 count indictment for health care fraud, identity theft, and making false statements.  Johnson owns Kealey Pharmacy and Home Care.

Investigators say between 2008 and 2014, he filed false claims to Medicare and Medicaid so he could be paid for doing nothing.  Johnson’s due back in court on Aug. 30 for an arraignment hearing.
