Executive Director of KFACT, Shamika Williams talks to the morning show about this weekend’s Trunk Party for college bound girls.
KFACT is a local organization devoted to empowering and mentoring young women attending Rockford Public Schools. The trunk event is Saturday July 29 from 10 am to 12 pm at 4701 E. State St., in Rockford.
The organization would like people to donate personal care items, sheets, school supplies, and gift cards for the girls.
