It is election day and this is the last day to cast your ballot. If you’re not registered, it’s not too late. We are going live all morning from a few different polling places!
And it seems this year more people were heading to the polls ahead of election day. Election officials say the reason for higher voter registration numbers may be due to the ability to register online. Meanwhile they’re also seeing women voting in high numbers. Election day is grace period registration and voting at the 6th street location. If a person is already registered, they can not vote at the 6th street location on election day, they have to go to their polling place. You must be registered to vote from your current address and with your current name to be qualified to vote a full ballot.
Qualifications for registration are:
 – you must be a resident of your precinct for 30 days by the date of the election,
 – you must be 18 years of age on the date of the election the day.
 – you must be a citizen of the united states.
