AMBOY, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) – The Lee County 4-H Fair kicked off Thursday, with activities ranging from animal judging, to tractor pulls.
Entering it’s 168th year, the fair features the county’s agricultural roots. Horses, cows, pigs and rabbits were showcased for visitors. Those who attended, said the fair is always a highlight of the summer.
“It was a pretty cool experience. The fair is all about having fun and spending time with friends, family and the community,” said Dixon resident Jena Schumacher.
