Local man found with knife sticking out of his face


Janesville, Wis. – A 46-year-old woman in Janesville is under arrest after police say she stabbed a man in the face with a streak knife.  It happened about 2:30 am on December 27, at a home on Mole Avenue and Mac Arthur.  Police say only the handle of the knife was visible, next to the man’s nose.  Maria Johnson and the man both told officers it was an accident. 

The victim was taken to the hospital where the knife was removed.  He is expected to be okay.

Johnson was arrested for 2nd Degree Reckless Injury with Domestic Violence enhancer and is being held at the Rock County Jail.
