Ken Foss has a suggestion for last minute holiday shoppers: buy a piece of history.
In 2011, Foss found a set of original lithograph plates used to print the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence in a Kingston warehouse.
At the start of 2016, he started his “Million Constitution Challenge”. The deal offers buyers a chance to purchase a digitally photographed version of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence and then receive another set free. Foss hopes that set will be donated to a worthy cause such as a school, a veteran or a library.
Foss has taken his challenge all the way to New York City, to the set of FOX and Friends. He’s now encouraging all last-minute shoppers to swing by Pinecrest Community Center in Mt. Morris to pick up a set of the historic documents. He’s also selling them online, for a link click here.
