DURAND, Ill. (WTVO) — Families came out to see classic cars at the annual Father’s Day car show in Durand.
The streets lined with classic cars and their hoods popped, so people can take a look inside.
The chrome detailing and fresh paint jobs glistened, even in the overcast skies.
For some, working on cars is more than just a past time, it’s quality time.
“Then, my kids followed it too,” Steve Folk said. “We’re just a bunch of gear heads and we’re obviously a GM family, you know. We just like getting them and making them the way we want them.”
This is the 23rd year for the Stateline classic Father’s Day car show.
