Belvidere police nab alleged crack dealer

BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — 27-year-old Santos Luis Garcia-Guerrero was arrested for allegedly selling crack cocaine in Belvidere, according to the Belvidere-Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit.

Garcia-Guerrero, of Rockford, was the subject of a two-month long investigation, police say.

He was arrested on Tuesday, June 18th and charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance 1-15 grams of cocaine, and Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance less than 1 gram of cocaine.

He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
