Freeport organization offering grant money to help teen drug addicts

FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — The Freeport Community Foundation wants to help young people who are struggling with drug addiction.

The foundation started the “Youth Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Memorial Fund.” Non-profit organizations with a focus on drug education and prevention, which are based in Stephenson, Jo Daviess, and Carroll counties, can apply for the grant.

Applications will be accepted until July 30th.
