House on Rockford’s N. Chicago Avenue struck by gunfire in early A.M. shooting

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police say a house on N. Chicago Avenue was struck by several rounds of gunfire early Thursday morning.

Police say the shooting happened at 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block.

The house was unoccupied and had been vacant for some time. No one was hurt in the shooting.
