BELLEVILLE, Ill. (WTVO) — All flags in Illinois will fly at half-staff until Saturday to honor fallen Marine Captain Eleanor LeBeau Cooke.

She died while piloting a Marine Osprey that crashed in Australia last month. Her remains were returned to Scott Air Force Base while personnel from Scott lined the motorcade route as tribute.

Visitation for Cooke is Friday, while her funeral will be held on Saturday.
