(WTVO) — Highways will be busy this upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend.
The Illinois Tollway expects nearly eight million vehicles to be traveling its interstates Friday-Tuesday.
The heaviest travel is anticipated for Friday. Almost two million cars are expected that day.
The tollway will suspend most temporary maintenance and construction lane closures through the holiday weekend.
