ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Wesley Willows handed out cold weather kits at Conklin Elementary, Monday morning.

Each kit has a hat, pair of gloves and socks.

Kids also got some personal items, like a box of tissues and shampoo.

The gear was donated by more than 30 Wesley Willows employees and suppliers.

“Every kid can use an extra pair of hat and gloves and socks and it’s nice to just be able to come and to support these kids and just show them that their Wesley Willows neighbors care about, about them,” said Wesley Willows Fund Development Coordinator, Josephine Lyttle.

300 cold weather kits were handed out.
