MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — A new Chick-Fil-A restaurant is due to open in Machesney Park on December 2nd, according to the company’s website.
The Village of Machesney Park announced that construction began in June on a second Rockford-area Chick-Fil-A location.
Chick-Fil-A will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in the community with free Chick-Fil-A for one year, and the fast food chain will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to fight hunger in the Rockford area.
The restaurant is located on the southeast corner of Alpine and Rt. 173/West Lane Road.
The popular fast food chain opened a Rockford location in January 2014, at 280 N Perryville Rd.
