Man sought by Beloit police for ‘substantial battery incident’

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — 25-year-old Jeff Sparks is wanted by Beloit Police for what they describe as a “substantial battery incident.”

Police say the incident was reported on Wednesday, and occurred in the 1400 block of Madison Road.

Sparks is thought to be traveling with his mother, Gina, and his 7-month-old child.

Sparks is described as white, 6 feet tall, 140 pounds, with long, light brown hair, and blue eyes. Gina is described as white, 5’6”, 125 pounds, with green eyes and red hair.

Sparks was last seen driving a black, four door Mazda 6 with Wisconsin plate number AEL1029. Police say the vehicle has damage on the driver’s door and a window is broken out and may be covered in plastic. The triangle windows on both sides of the rear of the vehicle are also broken.

Anyone with information on Sparks’ location is asked to call Beloit Police at 608-757-2244.
