Meridian School District awarded Emergency Connectivity Grant

STILLMAN VALLEY, Ill. (WTVO) — More than half a million dollars in federal funding will help make some technology upgrades for the Meridian School District.

The program is meant to meant to make sure that students have the appropriate equipment needed for remote learning. District administrators said that the funding will be used to buy new laptops for staff and Chromebooks for students.

They will replace damaged or out of date devices.
