Motorcycle crash sends man to hospital with life-threatening injuries

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) – A motorcycle crash sends a man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

First responders were called to the 1800 block of South Mulford Road in Rockford, around 4:30 pm Thursday afternoon. Investigators say a 58-year-old man was driving his motorcycle north bound on Mulford Road when he lost control. The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No word on what caused the man to lose control. He has not been identified.

Rockford Police are investigating.

South Mulford Road, between Newburg Road and Charles Street, was shut down while police investigated.
