ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police have announced additional charges against 21-year-old Dakota Graff, one of of three men who are accused of murdering Rockford rapper William Pickering.
Three have been accused of murdering Pickering, 23, hiding his body in unincorporated Winnebago County.
Graff is still at large and wanted by police.
On Saturday, June 1st, Rockford Police officers went to the home of William Pickering, in the 500 block of Fisher Avenue, behind the Valencia Apartments, to conduct a welfare check.
Police say that even though his vehicle was at the location, they could not locate Pickering, who is also known as EBE Bandz and Billy Da Kid.
O’Shea said that the investigation led them to 5200 Indianhead Avenue on June 20th, where a crime scene was located.
Further information led police to an undisclosed location in unincorporated Winnebago County where Pickering’s remains were located.
Two men, William Arzate, 22, and Manuel Ramirez, 22, were arrested.
Arzate has been charged with two counts of First Degree Murder.
Ramirez has been charged with one count of concealment of a homicidal death.
Arzate and Ramirez entered Not Guilty pleas on July 25th. Court records show both men were released on bond. Arzate was held on a $1 million bond, which means 10 percent ($100,000) was paid for his release.
Graff has been charged with First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, Residential Burglary, and Concealment of a Homicidal Death.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Rockford Police at 815-966-2900 or Crime Stoppers at 815-963-7867.
