ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Norwegian restaurant will be building a small Scandinavian fishing village for Rockford’s first annual Snømarket, December 14th and 15th.
The Norwegian will be building 12 huts to house local artist vendors and serve food, drinks and holiday gift items in the parking lot, at 1402 North Main Street, from 3 – 9 p.m.
The restaurant describes the market as similar to Christmas markets in Europe and Chicago and will feature holiday foods, hot cider, glögg, handmade pottery, clothing, wood carvings, and more.
Children will be able to make ornaments and take photos with a Yeti.
Warming stations will be available within the restaurant.
