PAWS Humane Society and Noah’s Ark host ‘Puppy Yoga’ at City Market

Local News

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO)- Stateline residents exercise with some four-legged friends as Puppy Yoga takes over Rockford City Market.

The event featured puppies from both the PAWS Humane Society and Noah’s Ark Pet Sanctuary. Following the class, there was even a Pet Market Pop-Up where attendees could learn more about all of the participating pups. Organizers hope that the event helps showcase some of the pets available for adoption.

Susan Golan is the President of the Board of Directors for the PAWS Humane Society. She says the event benefits all involved.

“The dogs are having just as good as time as the people.” Golan said. “They’re having a good time meeting each other and running around and being puppies.”

Noah’s Ark recently took in lost and abandoned dogs from the hurricane storms in Texas.
