JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville Police Department were dispatched to the Stop-N-Go at 1604 E. Racine for an armed robbery at 10:24 p.m. Saturday, August 24th.

Authorities said that the suspect fled on foot prior to their arrival.

The Stop-N-Go employee described the suspect as an unknown black male wearing a black jacket, gray winter hat and a face mask. The employee said that the male entered the store and demanded all of the money.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and two packs of Newport Cigarettes, officials said.

Officials said that the employee reported that the suspect never displayed a firearm, but it was believed he had one in his jacket pocket because of his actions.

The suspect has not been located and not yet identified.
