Police: Man in ‘Scream’ mask robs Rockford gas station

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a gas station on Linden Road on Tuesday.

Police say they were called to the Phillips 66, at 4402 Linden Road, around 10:40 p.m. on October 8th.

Witnesses say a man wearing a “Scream” ghost mask, described as a 5’10” black male, thin build, wearing a black hoodie, and black pants, black and white shoes, entered the store with a knife and demanded money from the register.

The suspect then fled on foot, westbound on Linden Road.

Police say no one was hurt.
