Police used squad cars and K9s to locate suspects in an armed robbery.

ROCKFORD (WTVO) – In Rockford, squad cars and k-9s are used in a high speed chase to find four armed robbery suspects Saturday night.

Just after 9:45, multiple agencies in police cars chased the suspects to Linden Road, near the Beacon Hill apartment complex. That’s when four men in an alleged stolen car came to a stop, and all four got out and ran away from the car. Police were able to catch all of them and take them into custody.

Investigators believe these four men are connected to the armed robbery at the Dollar General on Kishwaukee that happened several hours earlier, Saturday afternoon. None of the suspect’s identities have been released yet.
