ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Sunday service at one stateline church was extra special this weekend.
Rockford’s Allen Chapel celebrated another year in the community. The 132nd church anniversary marked a milestone, making it the oldest Black church in Rockford.
There was singing and guest speakers to honor the event.
