ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A Rockford road was forced to close on Tuesday after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
It happened in the 1100 block of Preston Street around 7:15 p.m., according to the Rockford Police Department. The road was closed in both directions while officers investigated.
They said that residents should find an alternate route.
