Rockford Police ask public’s help to identify burglary suspect caught on cam

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police released video Tuesday of a suspect in a residential burglary on Hilton Avenue.

Police say the burglary happened around 11 a.m. on May 28th in the 400 block of Hilton Avenue. Officers responding to the scene discovered that the suspect entered the residence while the female victim was down stairs.

When she confronted the suspect, he fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white male, about 5’8”, 140 pounds.
