ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford sent support and supplies to its sister city in Ukraine on Sunday.

A plane full of supplies left the Chicago-Rockford International Airport Sunday morning for the Ukraine-Romania border. The “Brovary Relief Fund” packed more than 270,000 meals and raised $100,000.

Rockford and Brovary have been sister cities for nearly three decades.
