ROCKTON (WTVO) – We still have a few days till actual Halloween, but if you’re in Rockton you got to celebrate early.
Kids dressed in all kinds of costumes from princesses to Legos, and even a giant hot dog hit the streets in downtown Rockton for the annual Main Street Trick or Treat.
On the Sunday before Halloween about 30 businesses come together buying bags of candy each year to give out to trick or treaters. Families came out by the dozens to get some pre Halloween candy, and strut the streets in their costumes.
Organizers say, the best part is seeing how creative residents get each year.
“It’s so much fun to see all the kids just dressed up and you see a lot of families that are all dressed up too and you see a lot of creative costumes.”, Rockton’s Planning and Development Administrator, Tricia Didich said.
Main Street Trick or Treat brought out so many, people were lined down the block to get a Halloween treat from Tricia.
