ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Some “Forest City” police officers invited residents to dine with the man in red.
Pancakes, eggs, sausage and other typical breakfast food smells filled District Two on Saturday morning.
Kids were even given a gift early this year, and organizers asked everyone to bring a toy. Those toys will be given to children in local hospitals that are unable to make it home for the holidays.
