Sunday’s storms knock out power across 100,000 Northern Illinois homes

ROCKFORD (WTVO) – Severe thunder storms also caused almost 100,000 Northern Illinois homes to lose power.

High winds knocked down power lines across the Stateline. ComEd is reporting outages in several surrounding counties.

Just under 8,433 homes are without power in Winnebago County, and 1,233 in Ogle County. A little over 233 homes are affected in Lee County, 98 in Stephenson, and 67 homes in Boone County.

45,000 homes have already been restored.
