Three men charged in Rockford home invasion

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Three men have been indicted on home invasion and robbery charges after allegedly conducting a home invasion on Florence Avenue in August.

The Winnebago County Sheriff was called to the home in the 4100 block of Florence where a man said he was at home when three men wearing masks and bandanas forced their way into the house.

The victim told police that two of the three men were armed with weapons. They allegedly took money and other items before fleeing.

Lontavious Derring, 26, Marcus Oliver, 28, and Raymond Willis, 34, were arrested and charged with Home Invasion, Aggravated Robbery, Residential Burglary, and Possession of Another’s Debit or Credit Card.

They each face up to 30 years in prison if convicted.
