Three teens arrested after a fight outside Rockford elementary school

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Three people are arrested after a fight Thursday afternoon in Rockford.

Patrol Officers responded to a fight outside Lewis Lemon Elementary School on Mulberry. Two juveniles were hurt. One man took himself to the hospital with a stab wound and the other was taken by ambulance after being battered. Both are expected to be okay.

Officers found three people in the area and took them into custody. Their charges are:

Diquan Yoho, 19, Rockford: Aggravated battery in a public pay and possession of a controlled substance.

Juvenile Female, 13, Rockford: Aggravated battery in a public way.

Juvenile Male, 17, Rockford: Aggravated battery in a public way.

The two juveniles were lodged in the Juvenile Detention Center.

Yoho was taken to the Winnebago County Jail and is due in court Friday afternoon.
